In the early 1980’s, with Mr. Watt’s vision and encouragement, Woody initiated the strategy and implementation of precedent-setting legislation on individual property tax bills and the prohibition of double taxation relating to transient occupancy taxation which remain the bases for much of the shared ownership industry’s legislative tax strategy in those areas today.

The importance of ethics and honesty, respect for others, and a desire to be a positive influence have been a source of pride and are an integral part of who Woody is. He began as a busboy at Disneyland in Anaheim, California and became a respected and sought-after mentor to several company presidents and officers over the years.
